Enough of all this gardening and lawn mowing and hippy rain water collecting crap, Brain! Yesterday I got to go be a big, bad, lighting girl (sort of) or at least hang out with the big, bad, lighting boys on the Journey tour. I was not there to do any lighting (but they had two MAs) just to take pics for PLSN magazine.
(Is it me, or does he kind of look like he has to pee in this shot?)
I was feeling all important and professional, Brain, right up o the point I realized i am the absolute last person on Earth to know that Steve Perry left Journey (yeah, like 15 years ago apparently) and that everyone else on the planet already knows this because they watched MTV in the early 90's. See how culturally hamstringed I am by not watching TV? Anyway imagine my surprise, down in the pit squished between the very unfriendly paparazzi guy and the downright dangerous monkey cam dude, when some Asian kid comes out and starts singing. I wasn't even sure which way to point the camera. I mean, its not like anybody is gonna recognize the other band members is it? What's the point? But what do I know? Obviously not even as much as anyone who ever saw a single episode of Behind The Music.
Not so big and bad after all.
Sigh.
